My F.I.R.ST Experience

Here I am standing in front of this amazing piece of modern technology referred to as F.I.R.S.Therapeutics (Far Infrared Sauna) incorporating Lightwave Dynamics, sounds like I should be in N.A.S.A rather than my own home, anyway this promises to “project” me into the past……as far as my toxic overload is concerned.

When I first heard “Sauna” I’m thinking, too wet, too hot, to uncomfortable, and too long to warm up, but evidently this state of the art Time Capsule helps the body to release oodles of toxins (makes you profusely perspire) in a comfortable DRY heat!!!

I must say this all looks pretty cool, only a couple of switches, lights and temperature, even I can manage that and it warms up in 10 mins, that great, no long wait,…. ok ……check list, mineral water, two towels, reading material, and my favourite sounds to play on the installed CD/MP3 player, oh yes, really top drawer, set the timer for 35 mins (as it is my first time) …disrobe….I’m ready, in we go.

Mmmm this is very pleasant actually, the non toxic wooden construction creates a natural warmth, and I’ve just realised (reading the info in here) that this model Incorporates the Latest Solo Carbon Panels, which cleverly emit totally safe Light Waves that permeate up to 3 inches into your body, warming the very fabric of your soul, but don’t get hot themselves, it also has variable Light Therapy, to suit your mood, Magnetic Inserts, in the wooden structure, to enhance your energy levels, an Air Purifier with Aromatherapy to calm and soothe your mental exhaustion, and even an ergonomic back rest, which is really comfortable and supportive..…well I never, .….all these luxuries AND it does you good……excellent.

Ah, this is perfect, some quality time for me …something we all deserve but rarely have the opportunity to enjoy nowadays,…ahhh, the warmth is definitely coming through now, this is most relaxing,….and…..oh oh, I’m leaking, it’s quite amusing really, it is like you use to see in those old comedy movies, where the gangster has been shot, and he has a glass of water and it spurts out of the holes in his body,….ok…it isn’t that profuse, but seeing as I am just sitting here, relaxing, it is quite remarkable…it really is working so well, glancing up, the temperature is now 45 C, and very comfortable, time to towel down and drift off with pleasant thoughts.

Of course, you could just as well, utilise the time to prepare your day, study, learn a language (on the CD player) write that “things to do” list, and catch up on those articles you been meaning to read since 2001!!!.

I am now aware that my heart rate has increased although I had been running (what a good memory I have) and my PPR (Profuse Perspiration Rate) is doing overtime, yet I am just sitting quietly, totally relaxed, enjoying my time and space, …Towel down regularly now.

OOOHHHH…….It’s turned itself off, I could have easily stayed in for the full hour, which is fine once you are acclimatised, towel down, dry off and out we go, I feel very refreshed and quite energised, so what has actually happened???
If your body cannot excrete accumulated toxins they overburden your immune system impairing the way your body fights off disease and “Free Radicals” which are reputed to be a major contributory factor of many illnesses from just being tired to the precursor to cancer cells.
